8 Installation
1. Place the front cover onto the housing from
above and swing it downwards.
2. The front cover must audibly engage in the
two locking levers at the bottom.
8.3.2 PPB 30 AE / PPB 30 AW / PPB 30 AS
CAUTION Exercise caution when hand-
ling housing parts with, e.g., stainless steel
external covers.
→ Wear protective gloves.
1. Place the front cover on the housing from be-
low. – Both of the front cover's slits must en-
gage in the housing catches (see figure de-
tail).
2. Swing the housing upwards and screw it tight
on the right and left sides (see arrows).
8.4 Accessory components
Route control cables of ventilation units, sensors
and accessories in the empty ducts.
8.5 Units with compensating frame
and fixing plate
For mounting on thin walls → External cover in-
structions.
8.6 Soffit elements PP 45 LE,
PP 45 LEV and PP 45 LEW90
Soffit elements not suitable for PPB 30
units – Only use PP 45 LE / PP 45 LEV / PP 45
LEW90 with PP 45 units.
