This stand must only be installed at a solid, plane, anti-slip, vibration-free, oscillation-free and fire-resistant
location.
Please note: when using this stand in public or industrial areas, a series of safety instructions have to be
followed that this manual can only give in part. The operator must therefore inform himself on the current
safety instructions and consider them.
Before installing the stand, make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 5 times the
system's load (e.g. weight 20 kg - point load 100 kg).
The installation is only allowed on carrying areas. In some cases, an appropriate substructure, e.g. via an
balancing foot, has to be created.
When choosing the installation material, optimum dimensions have to be chosen in order to secure
maximum safety.
Never install any objects offering a large surface for winds (e.g. banners, signs, etc.).
The loads have to be installed in a balanced way.
Always fix the fixtures with an appropriate safety-rope.
Operate the stand only after having become familiar with its functions. Do not permit operation by persons
not qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!
The stand must never be moved before having lowered all telescopic tubes!
Never dismount the winch handle or any element of the winch under any circumstances.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the stand are forbidden due to safety reasons!
Never remove the serial barcode from the stand as this would make the guarantee void.
If this stand will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like
crash.

Risk analysis and instructions for use

Risk of falling
Do not use as a personnel lifting platform or step.
Do not climb on the mast.
Danger of tipping
Do not operate the truss lifter unless all four outriggers are properly installed, the screw jack pads are in firm
contact with the ground and the base is level.
Do not operate the machine unless all outrigger lock pins are in place and properly inserted into each
outrigger.
Do not raise the load unless the machine is level.
Do not set the machine up on a surface where it cannot be leveled using only the levelling jacks.
Do not move the machine with a raised load, except for minor positioning.
Do not operate the machine in strong or gusty winds. Increasing the load surface area will decrease machine
stability in windy conditions.
Do not leave the load raised with the outrigger casters contacting the ground.
Do not adjust or remove the outriggers while the load is raised.
Do not leave a load raised when windy conditions may occur unless the machine(s) are properly guy-wired.
Do not use the machine on a moving or mobile surface or vehicle.
Do not place ladders or scaffolding against any part of the machine.
Do not exceed the rated load capacity.
Do not raise unless the load center (balance point) is properly positioned.
