3 G A S H A N D L E
The gas handle is situated under the protection cover of the engine. The gas
handle can only be applied in two positions:
• 0 = stationary number of revolutions (heating, cooling, short break)
• 1 = full gas during cleaning works
 
Remark: Use the gas handle NEVER to arrange the spray pressure.
Starting and warming up:
Move the gas handle a little bit open to the left. Move the gas handle a little bit
to the FaST-position (high-speed position) and make sure that the fuel tap is on
position on. Start the engine, electric or with the traction cord, depending the
model. hold the handle in this position, so that the engine can run warm idle at
lower revolutions.
Engine is at operating temperature:
push aside the gas handle completely to the right, position MIn, up to the right
stop. let the engine run at stationary revolutions for a while to cool down.
put the working switch on position 0 (=out) and the fuel tap on oFF.
Switching off the engine:
push aside the gas handle completely to the right, position MIn, up to the right
stop. let the engine run at stationary revolutions for a while to cool down. put
the working switch on position 0 (=out) and the fuel tap on oFF.

WORKING SWITCH: WITH HAND STARTED ENGINE

The working switch is situated along the front of the protection cover under the
gas tank of the engine.
The working switch has two positions:
• 0 : oFF = out
• 1 : on = working position

WORKING SWITCH: WITH ELECTRIC STARTED ENGINE

The working switch can be situated at the front or at the side of the protection
cover. The working switch has 3 positions and is operated with a key:
• 0 : oFF = out, stop
• 1 : on = in working position
• STaRT: = starting the engine.
The engine switch needs to be turned to 'STaRT', one must hold these there
(no longer then 5 sec) to the engine starts. If the engine does not start, wait 10
seconds, before trying again.
afterwards, turn again to 1: on. a circuit breaker protects the electric battery
charge circuit, at disturbances (no oil) or bugs. a switched off circuit (green
indicator out) could be activated again by pushing this button after repairing the
disturbance.

PULL ROPE

put the working switch of the engine in the on position. The traction cord is
mounted with a handle, which has to pull out calm till there can be sensed a
resistance. The freewheel clutch is now entered. next, the cord has to be pulled
out in a strong move to start the engine. after each start (- attempt) you have to
spring back the pulled cord easily. after long-time standstill or first operation,
operate motor with low adjusted speed and without load for approx. 20 sec.
after start.
 
Never let turn the motor without an air filter, since
these lead to a quickly wear of the motor.

PRESSURE REGULATORR

The pressure regulator is mounted at the left of the machine. on the pressure
regulator sits a turning button, with which the spray pressure can be established
continues. Turning the button to the right is a higher pressure. Turning the
button to left is a lower pressure. The pressure can only be adjusted if the spray
gun is operated. The spray pressure is indicated on the manometer.
