Replacing/Snapping into place
The disposable CO absorber must be replaced as soon as one of

the following conditions applies:
– The inspiratory CO concentration has reached approx.
2
5 mmHg.
– The soda lime has turned 2/3 violet.
– The disposable CO absorber has been used for 4 weeks or
2
longer.
NOTE
In contrast to the Drägersorb 800 Plus, the discoloration of the
soda lime will persist while it is not in use and no
regeneration of the soda lime takes place.
Always remove depleted disposable CO
device and dispose of immediately.

1 Press the button: the disposable CO

3 Before fitting into place, shake the new disposable CO
absorber by turning it upside down several times in order to
loosen up the soda lime.
 Make sure to fit the disposable CO
correctly (pictograms must face the user).
4 Remove the red cap.
5 Slide the disposable CO absorber onto the mounting as far as

possible.
