WARNING

Replacing/Snapping into place
The disposable CO absorber must be replaced as soon as one of

the following conditions applies:
– The inspiratory CO concentration has reached approx.
2
5 mmHg.
– The soda lime in the absorber has turned 2/3 violet.
– The disposable CO absorber has been used for 4 weeks or
2
longer
NOTE
In contrast to Drägersorb 800 Plus, the color change of the lime
will persist while it is not in use and there is no regeneration of the
soda lime.
Always remove spent disposable CO
and dispose of immediately.
Replace the disposable CO

absorber by turning it upside down several times in order to
loosen up the soda lime.
