5. Setting the date/time

• With the device switched off, press and hold the
SET button until the four-digit year appears on
the display (Figure 1).
• Press the Memory button to set the year. Press
the SET button to confirm the selected year and
proceed to setting the date (Figure 2).
• Set the month with the Mem-
ory button and confirm this
with the SET button. Set the
day (Figure 2), hours and min-
utes (Figure 3) in the same
way.

6. Attaching the cuff

• Clear the wrist from all clothing or watches/
jewellery since this may disturb the blood flow
in the arm as it may impair the blood pressure at
the place of measurement.
• Pull the device over your left wrist, palm facing
up (Figure 1). The distance between the palm
and the cuff's edge must be 1-2 cm (Figure 2).
• Fasten the cuff using the hook
and loop fastening (Figure 3).

7. Body posture when taking measurements

Sit at a dining table, lean your back against the
backrest of the chair and bend your arm so that
your arm is exactly at heart level. Place your feet
on the ground and do not cross your legs.
Please pay attention to the following:
• It is important to keep your arm calm and
not to speak during the measurement.
• Put your feet on the floor and do not cross your legs.
• Do not bend your wrist.
• Keep your hand relaxed, not tightened, do not make a fist.
Ensure that the measuring point is level with your heart. If the measur-
ing point is lower than the heart, the measured values may be higher.
If the measuring point is higher than the heart, the measured values
may be lower.

8. Selecting the user

The device is designed for two users. The values for the two users are
stored separately and can also be evaluated separately.
You may also use the two user memories to evaluate measurements
taken in morning and those taken in the evening separately. To do
this, carry out the measurement in the morning using user 1 and in the
evening using user 2.
Before taking the measurement, check that the correct user is dis-
played.
