Placing the pipe system fi rst and then placing the appliance
You can also place the concentric pipe system before placing the appliance. In such case, ensure that you make the connection
with the appliance with an extendable pipe.
Opening (and closing) the fi replace
To insert the wood set (and a restriction plate, if desired), you will need to open the fi replace. To do so, please complete the
following steps:
•
Slide the top plate up enough so as to clear the front plate (when doing so, mind the fi nish on the connecting pipe!).
•
Lift up the front plate, which is hooked onto the interior structure (when doing so, mind the weight of the plate!).
•
Carefully put the front plate off to the side.
•
Unscrew the bolts on the window strip at the top, and remove the strip.
•
Merely loosen the bolts on the bottom window strip – no need to remove the clamps.
•
The window is now loose and can be carefully removed.
Watch out for fi nger marks!
Make sure to leave no fi nger marks on the cleaned glass pane when you close the appliance door. Finger marks
leave stains which will burn in the glass.
Placing the fi replace (wall-mounted)
•
The fi replace must be mounted on a suffi ciently sturdy wall.
•
Mount the brace on the wall using the appropriate hardware.
•
Install the shields.
•
Hook the fi replace into the brace using the grooves intended for that purpose. When doing so, mind your back!
•
No fl ammable materials such as curtains must be present in the vicinity of the fi replace. A safe distance to maintain regarding
such fl ammable materials can be found on page 58-60.
