system, execute a tightness test at a higher pressure than the standard one, in
order to avoid water leaks during the regular use of the unit.

6.6 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Before making any electrical connection, verify the compatibility between power supply
5
and the technical features of the fan coil and/or of the other accessories to be connected
to the unit. These features are illustrated in the identification plate, located on one side
of the fan coil (Fig. 1).In the power supply system to the fan coil, a double-pole
6
switch must be foreseen with a minimum distance of 3 mm between contacts
in each pole.
For a correct management and use of the fan coil, the use of an YORK control is suggested.
The control has to be chosen according to the requirements of the installation.
7
In standard configurations (for example CBL00-Encl.3/A) it is not possible to
connect more than one motor in parallel to the same speed selector or ther-
moregulator. For this requirement, a special optional card and the relevant elec-
8
tric diagram are necessary.
Each fan coil is provided with:
9
screw terminal board for the electrical connections, indicated inside the CBL00 control
box (s. Enclosure 4 - Fig. 1);
electric wiring diagram, specific for the working of the unit and its accessories, located
10
in the front inner part of the unit;
ground protection terminal marked with the symbol
ground protection system cable (yellow/green).
+
To connect the fan coil unit to the electric system, operate as follows:
1. Insert the wires (factory pre-wired cable) through the slots in the base of the control box
(see enclosure 1/A, 1/B, 1/C pos. 7) and make the electrical connections accordingly to
the electric wiring diagram located in the front inner part of the unit and to the diagram of
the controller.
2. Fix the wires to the base of the control panel by using the given clamps and be sure that
the wires under the panel with the slots are blocked at a distance of at least 5 mm from
the slots themselves.
3. Fix back the cover box to the base with the screw.
4. Pay attention to the fixing and the path of the connection cables, make sure that they are

for the connection of the
