1. INTRODUCTION

SAPHIR fan coil units are the result of an exhaustive research on functionality and comfort,
realized in the YORK laboratories.
Thanks to their pleasant design, the reduced dimensions and the high coefficient of
performance, these units of new conception are able to satisfy all the requests of comfort,
space optimization and aesthetic needs.

2. PURPOSES OF THIS MANUAL

Before installing the fan coil unit, carefully read the instructions contained in
this manual. By doing so, you will obtain the following advantages:

4. DESCRIPTION OF THE FAN COIL UNITS

The SAPHIR fan coils are units for COOLING and HEATING applications; they are fed with
cold and hot water and used according to their relevant performance features.
Fan coil units are components of the cooling and/or heating system; consequently, they
are without any safety devices on the water circuit. These units have been designed for
temperatures until 85 °C.
