7.4 EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE

All operations of extraordinary maintenance, such as regulation or the re-
placement of the electric components, (motor, control, valves, etc.) must be
executed by qualified personnel only.

Before proceeding with any operation of extraordinary maintenance, make

sure that the unit has been disconnected from the power supply.

7.4.1 REPLACING THE HEAT EXCHANGER (COIL)

In order to replace the coil either with a new one or with another coil with opposite hydraulic
connections, operate as follows (see Fig. 5):

1.
for models with housing (YSF, YSW) remove the frontal panel and the sides as indi-
cated in paragraph 6.3; loosen the 4 screws that fix the frontal closing and remove the
air outlet kit;
2.
remove the screw that fix the filter to the structure (1);
3.
loosen the screws that fix the inner closing panel both in front and sideways (2);
4.
remove from the sides of the unit the screws that fix the basement of the fan deck to
the structure (3); remove the fan deck by rotating it slightly;
5.
if the unit is installed in a 4 pipe system, also remove the antitorsion plate on the hy-
draulic connections side (4);
6.
loosen the upper and side screws that fix the coil to the structure (5) and remove it
frontally. Now, it is possible to replace the coil, by using with the same screws. All the
components have to be remounted very carefully and correctly.

The autotransformer is burnt out
The filter and/or the coil is clogged
The fan speed is too low
Water and/or air temperature at the en-
try of the fan coil does not comply with
the expected values
The pump is not powerful enough to
handle operational requirements

Replace the damaged component
Clean the filter and/or the coil
Change the position of the speed se-
lector
Verify the available power and the in-
stalled power. Operate accordingly
Replace the pump with a pump suitable
to the installation requirements
