6.4 MOUNTING THE FAN COIL

When fixing the fancoil on the floor, on the wall or on the ceiling, use the mounting holes
already present in the unit. These holes are located at the sides of the back panel (Encl.
1/A, 1/B and 1/C position 30).

The positions and distances must be respected for correct installation and working of each
model; see Encl. 2 of this manual.
Before installing the fan coil, check and mark the distance between the slots on the back
+
side of the inner frame. Place some fixing screws anchors in the holes in order to support
the weight of the fan coil, in accordance to the wall structure. If the unit is not properly
installed on the floor or on the wall, it can create a dangerous situation, and vibrations could
make it noisy.
Special procedures for horizontal installation.
If a fan coil is installed in a room whose height exceeds 2.70 m, the performance of the unit
may be reduced due to stratification of the air.
