Cleaning Instructions:

Echo-Screen III devices and their components should be cleaned regularly, as follows:
Daily perform a light cleaning of the battery

As needed to remove built up dirt, thoroughly clean the battery
•
IMPORTANT! The Echo-Screen III device battery should not be exposed to cleaning solutions or liquids
other than the approved cleaners and cleaning protocols. Approved cleaners are isopropyl alcohol and
mild soapy water solution.
Light Cleaning of the Echo-Screen III Battery:
1. Remove the battery from the battery compartment.
2. Use a prepackaged alcohol wipe or a lint-free cloth dampened (not wet) with 70% isopropyl
alcohol to wipe down all surfaces of the screening device, including the plastic battery enclosure.
Use a swab to reach small areas.
3. Wipe down the battery enclosure and the battery contacts.
4. Allow the battery to dry thoroughly.
5. Reinstall the battery.
For thorough cleaning of the battery, turn off the device, unplug all cables, and remove the battery. Use a
damp (not wet) lint-free cloth moistened with mild detergent, such as liquid dishwashing detergent, and
water diluted to the detergent manufacturer's recommendation to remove built up dirt and grease from the
battery housing's plastic surfaces. You can use a swab to reach small areas.
