SPOT MARK ("SPOT MARK" working mode)

Select this mode to carry out spot mark operations.
For spot mark material, gas and cutting current settings, and for adjustment of working pressure refer to section 4.1.
Throughout the spot mark operation, select the relevant item and press knob H to adjust the time.
A spot mark is a particular type of mark where the trace takes the form of a spot instead of a line or any design typical
of normal marking.
After setting the relevant parameters, the spot mark operation can be managed and carried out using a hand torch or
a straight torch directly from the CNC, maintaining the same cutting parameters and consumables.
For a straight torch, i.e. with a CNC interface fitted in the power source, a digital signal at the relevant pins (see wiring
diagram) switches operation from cutting mode to spot mark mode (CUT -> SPOT MARK), and this is shown on the
display N.

Additional functions

You can set additional parameters for the power source using the second functions menu. To access this menu, which
is currently available only in English, hold down knob H (Fig. 1) and turn on the power source: the display N will show:

− Language: language selection (only English currently available)
− Measure System: select the unit of measure, metric or imperial. You can also choose whether to view thicknesses
in mm or inches and speeds in m/min. or in./min.
− LCD Contrast: select the contrast level for the display, ranging from a minimum (MIN) to a maximum (MAX) value,
by turning knob H (Fig. 1)
− Advanced Parameters: you can change certain internal parameters of the power source (password protected;
authorised personnel only)
− Engine Drive: option to select the type of power input. If the power source is fed by motor generator, select YES
− Factory Setup: to restore factory settings, select ON
