4.1 Problems - Diagnosis - Solutions

This paragraph contains some of the problems that could
arise when using the shocks, as well as the possible causes
of these problems and any solutions to the same. Always
consult this table before working on the shock absorber.
Problem
The rear shock is too soft
The rear shock doesn't compress
completely
The rear shock extends too quickly,
returning violently after damping
The rear shock reaches the end of
its travel too quickly
The shock absorber remains
compressed during multiple impacts
Oil seal ring on the rod

4.2 Periodic maintenance

This section describes some of the periodic maintenance
operations that should be performed and recommends the
frequency at which they should be done.
General maintenance operation
Clean the rear shock and check that the nuts and bolts fi xing
the shock absorber to the frame are tight
Air pressure control
Oil seals control
Oil change
Change the seals
