Problem
Burner does not start

Possible cause

No power
Automatic firing unit indicates
a malfunction (malfunction
indicator illuminated).
Safety temperature limited
interrupted the power supply,
the outblow temperature is too
high, air intake or air outlet
narrowed, or unit could not
after-cool: Unit was switched
off by pulling the power plug
instead of switching it off.

Solution
Check using a 2-pin voltage tester or
multimeter, start unit in manual mode
(heating), replace fuse (A), check
supply lines for loose contacts.
Unscrew the control box cover panel.
After a waiting time of approx. 1 min,
actuate the illuminated reset button
on the burner control unit. The
malfunction message on the control
unit and the signal indicator must
expire. Next, the burner attempts to
restart.
In the case of first commissioning,
the reset button may have to be
pressed, until the burner sucked in
air-free oil. Check oil in the return line
for bubbles. Only if no bubbles are
present, heating operating is
possible.

Turn the black protective cover
counterclockwise and remove it.
Press the reset button of the STB
(A). This button is located above the
unit cable entry gland. Remove
overheating cause (intake or outblow
resistances).
