3. Unit design

Housing with ventilator and chrome-titanium steel combustion chamber with heat
exchanger and exhaust fitting. The oil burner and its control unit are located above the air
intake in the control box within the trim panel. The nozzle holder unit with flame pipe is mounted
to the horizontally arranged combustion chamber. As the flame turns around within the
combustion chamber, it shall be slim and long.
Capillary thermostats are installed on the unit. During heating, the temperature controller
ensures shortened heating timed die to delayed ventilator activation. During deactivation, the
temperature controller ensures the ventilator after-run to dissipate the residual heat from the
unit. This way, the combustion chamber is also protected against overheating caused by
residual heat. Powerful oil preheating is installed in the units for operation under low outside
temperatures. It heats a certain heating oil quantity so that the oil lines up to be barrel filter are
supplied with warm oil to ensure error-free burner start-up even at temperatures below zero
centigrade.
The room thermostat connection allows room temperature-depending control of the unit using
a room thermostat.

4. Working principle

During operation, the heating oil EL is sucked in by the burner pump via the intake line from the
provided oil tank or a permanently installed oil supply system. The oil quantity required for the
heat output is supplied to the burner nozzle via the pressure line, sprayed into the combustion
chamber, and ignited. A flame is generated, which -together with its combustion gases - heats
the combustion chamber and the heat exchanger. Excess heating oil delivered by the pump
flows back into the container.
The 2-stage ECO-E burner starts automatically in the first stage and ensures gentle burner
start-up. After a few seconds, the burner gently switches into the second stage generating the
full burner output.
The ventilator blows the sucked in cold air through combustion chamber and heat exchanger,
resulting in heating of the air. The heated air exists on the opposite side via the outblow fitting.
Burner output and hot air volume are automatically regulated by the integrated control. The user
adjusts the desired target temperature, and the heater automatically adjusted the required
energy amount.
If the target temperature is exceeded (solar irradiation or too many people), fresh air is blow in
to adjust back to the target temperature.
2 programs are available for heating.
In manual mode, the unit heats permanently without temperature regulation.
Manual fan actuation in 3 stages is possible as well.
In automatic mode, the set target temperature is automatically adjusted.
In this case, burner output and fan output vary.
Furthermore, the unit is equipped with optional remote monitoring with GPS monitoring.
An optional tank monitoring sensor is available as well.
