Product Description

The Sartocon Slice Disposable Filtration System is a complete, ready-to-use
®
crossflow filtration unit for pharmaceutical and biotechnical applications.
The system is supplied with two filter types:
— Ultrasart cassettes for ultrafiltration
®
— Microsart cassettes for the microfiltration
®
The Ultrasart cassette type with its polysulfone or Hydrosart
®
especially designed for concentrating proteins and enzymes. Polysulfone has
media-adsorption characteristics and is distinguished by its high pH stability.
In addition, it is very compatible with oxidizing agents. Hydrosart
adsorption characteristics and is hydrophilic; this results in high flow rates
with optimum product yield.
The Microsart cassette type is equipped with a hydrophilic Hydrosart
®
membrane with low adsorption characteristics that guarantees high flow rates
and optimum product yield. Microsart

The encapsulated construction eliminates complicated cleaning of the filter
