Flushing the Filter Cassettes
Flush the filter cassettes at the following times using the liquid indicated
below:
— with water, buffer of physiological saline before initial use
— with buffer or physiological saline after filtration
— with DI water after disinfection
— with DI water before checking the integrity
Adjust the following pressures:

= 29 psi (2.0 bar or 200 kPa)

= 7.3 psi (0.5 bar or 50 kPa)
outlet
p
= 0 psi (0 bar or 0 kPa)

Circulate at least 10 l of rinsing liquid per 0.1 m² of filter area through the
crossflow system. Afterwards, drain off the rinsing liquid for disposal.
Check the rinsing liquid for any residual traces of cleaning agent or
disinfectant using the appropriate detection method.
