3 Checking the Functionality
of the Filter Cassettes
Check whether the filter cassettes function properly by measuring their air
diffusion rate. The total air diffusion must not exceed the limit value of a single
filter cassette. In this way, you can ensure that the cassette is intact and will
function correctly.
Make sure to wet the filter cassette before conducting the test
(p = 43.5 psi (3.0 bar or 200 kPa),

Manual Integrity Test

Proceed as follows:
— Attach a hose to the feed inlet, and connect the other end of the hose
to a compressed air source.
— Close the retentate outlet.
