Device condition and specifications
Are the device or cables damaged?
Electrical connection
Does the supply voltage match the specifications on the nameplate?
Are all of the terminals firmly engaged in their correct slots? Is the labeling
on the individual terminals correct?
Are the mounted cables strain-relieved?
Are the supply voltage and signal cables connected correctly?
