The safety instructions in these Operating Instructions are labelled with the following safety

injury, a safety hazard or the destruction of the device.

This symbol indicates an action or procedure which, if not performed correctly, can result in
incorrect operation or the destruction of the device.

Note!
This symbol indicates an action or procedure which, if not performed correctly, can have an
indirect effect on operation or trigger an unexpected response on the part of the device.
Explosion protected, type-examined equipment
If this sign is on the nameplate of the device, the device can be used in a hazardous area.
Safe area (non-hazardous area)
In the drawings in these Operating Instructions, this symbol indicates the non-hazardous area.
Devices in the non-hazardous area must also be certified if connecting cables lead into the
hazardous area.
