8. When the espresso LED 26 is continu-
ously lit, press the espresso
button 25.
9. Run approx. 250 ml of descaling solu-
tion through it.
10. Press the espresso button
to stop.
11. Empty the container and place it under
the steam nozzle 8.
12. Wait until the espresso LED 26 is con-
tinuously lit again.
13. Turn the dial 5 to the symbol
press the espresso button
14. Run approx. 250 ml of descaling solu-
tion through it.
15. Press the espresso button
to stop.
16. Set the dial 5 to OFF.
17. Leave the descaling solution in the de-
vice for 15 minutes.
18. Repeat this process.
Rinsing process
1. Remove the water tank 3 and pour
away any excess descaling solution.
2. Rinse the water tank 3 several times
with clean water.
3. Fill the water tank 3 with fresh, cold tap
water up to the MAX marking and in-
sert it.
4. Carry out the two rinsing operations
(same as for the descaling solution)
with 500 ml of water each for both the
brewing head 13 and the steam noz-
zle 8.
5. To finish, fill the water tank 3 with fresh,
cold tap water up to the MAX mark-
ing.
The device heats up again and is then ready
to make espresso.
