3.9 Travel gear

3.9.5 Check axle oil level (back-gearing)

Only 70/2, 80/2:
Risk of burns when draining hot oil.
1. Undo oil filling screw (c); the oil level must be up to
the bottom edge of the oil filling screw (c).
2. Replenish oil as and when required.

3.9.6 Change axle oil (back-gearing)

Change oil at operating temperature:
3. Unscrew oil drain screw (a), collect used oil.
4. Renew breather screw (b).
5. For filling purposes screw drain screw (a) in and
undo oil filling screw (c). The drain screw (a) must
be cleaned before being inserted. See chap-
ter 5.3.3 for filling quantities.
6. Pour in fresh oil until the oil level is at the bottom
edge of the oil filling screw (c).
7. Screw in the oil filling screw (c)
3.9.5 Achsölstand kontrollieren (Vorgelege)
Nur 70/2, 80/2:
Beim Ablassen von heißem Öl Verbrühungs-
gefahr.
1. Öleinfüllschraube (c) herausdrehen, Ölpegel
muß bis Unterkante Öleinfüllschraube (c)
stehen.
2. Bei Bedarf Öl nachfüllen.
3.9.6 Achsöl wechseln (Vorgelege)
Ölwechsel bei Betriebstemperatur durchführen:
3. Ölablaßschraube (a) herausdrehen, ablau-
fendes Altöl auffangen.
4. Entlüfterschraube (b) erneuern.
5. Zum Auffüllen Ablaßschraube (a) eindrehen,
Einfüllschraube (c) herausdrehen. Ablaß-
schraube (a) muß vor dem Eindrehen gerei-
nigt werden. Füllmengen siehe Kap. 5.3.3.
6. Neues Öl einfüllen bis Unterkante Ein-
füllschraube (c).
7. Einfüllschraube (c) eindrehen.
