Setting the Device Role and Resetting the Device

Note: For a single-cell system, setting a device role is not required.
On delivery, all COMfortel WS-500S devices are configured
as "Base station with DECT Manager and Integrator". To
set up the mini multi-cell system, the two other devices
must be configured as "Only base station".
On delivery, all COMfortel WS-500M devices are
configured as "Only base station". To set up the multi-cell
system, one device must be configured as a DECT
Manager and Integrator.
Press the Device key
programming mode, the two LEDs on the front face
role.
Important: Note that, when the device role is changed, the device is reset
to its state when delivered. All settings are deleted. If a base station is
already in use, ensure it is no longer connected to another system.

Do this to set the device's role:
Requirement:
• Booting has ended and the device is ready.
1. Press and hold the Device key for at least 10 seconds, until all LEDs go out.
The device is now in programming mode.
2. Press the Device key briefly, once or several times, until the necessary role
is selected.
