the cooking temperature and add a little water
or oil.
- Before resetting the fuse, allow the jug to cool
down.
- If the jug contains hot ingredients, empty it into
another container. Add cold water and leave
for 5-10 minutes until the jug is completely cold.
- Use a ballpoint pen or screwdriver to reset the
fuse (do not use very sharp or pointed tools),
turn the jug upside down and press the trans-
lucent silicone button (Fig.8).
- IMPORTANT: When you reset the fuse you will
hear a click, you can now continue to use the
jug. Make sure you follow the operating instruc-
tions correctly. If you do not hear the click and
the jug does not heat up again after several
attempts, then contact Technical Support.
- When the appliance switches itself on and
off repeatedly, for reasons other than the
thermostat control, check to ensure that there
are no obstacles that impede correct air entry
or expulsion.
CLEANING
- Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it
cool before performing any cleaning task.
- Clean the equipment using a damp cloth with
a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
(Fig.9)
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,
for cleaning the appliance.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid, or place it under a running tap.
- It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly
and remove any food remains.
- If the appliance is not kept clean, its surface
may deteriorate, which will inevitably shorten
the appliance's useful life, as well as making it
unsafe to use.
- During the cleaning process, take special care
with the blades, as they are very sharp.
- When cleaning the lid, it is best to remove the
silicone seal to clean it separately.
- If scorch marks appear on the bottom of the
jug, pour in a little citric acid or lemon juice in
hot water for 5 - 7 minutes, and then wipe the
marks clean with a cloth.
- Clean the jug, taking care to dry the connector
pins thoroughly before using the appliance
again. The jug is NOT dishwasher safe.
- IMPORTANT: Never immerse the jug in water
for prolonged periods, as water may seep
inside and damage the internal mechanism,
posing a risk of short circuit (Fig.10).
- If food becomes stuck or burned on the bottom
of the jug, use the spatula to remove it as soon
as possible. To clean the jug, use hot water
with a mild detergent, allowing it to soak for a
while. Use a cleaning brush to remove encrus-
ted remains.
- The following parts can be washed in hot soapy
water or in the dishwasher (on a gentle wash
program) (Fig.11):
- Stir paddle
- Blades
- Whisk
- Steamer basket
- Spatula
- Measuring jug
- Lid
- Food processor
- The inside of the jug and the blades can be
cleaned by filling the jug halfway with water and
selecting the PULSE function with or without
temperature or heat.
- The draining/drying position for dishwasher
safe parts or those washed by hand in a sink
must allow the water to drain off easily.
- Next, dry all the parts before fitting them toge-
ther and storing.
