POSSIBLE PROBLEMS DURING BAKING
Problem
Bread has risen too much.
Bread has risen too much, then
collapsed.
Bread has not risen enough.
Crust is not well done.
Crust is brown on the sides, but
the crumb is not well done.
Sides and top of the loaf are
dusted with flour.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
Cause
The ventilation grille emits
smoke during baking.

Check the plug connection.
Check for voltage, e.g. by connecting
another appliance.
This is a normal function. This is not a
defect.
Disconnect the cable from the socket.
Let the unit cool. Clean the heater.
After you remove the loaf, pour water in
the baking pan, let the kneading blade
soak, then clean it. Before mounting,
lubricate the spindle with edible oil or fat.
Disconnect the cable from the socket.
Open the lid, remove the baking pan, and
let the unit cool.
Have the unit checked by an authorized
service center.
Check the position of the baking pan and
kneading blade.
Make sure the yeast does not get in
contact with the water or salt.
