5-minute delay function
• If starting up the unit after being powered off, the compressor should be run for about 5 minutes to prevent it from
damage.
Cooling/heating operation
• The indoor units can be controlled individually, but cannot run in cooling and heating mode at the same time. If
the cooling and the heating mode exist simultaneously, the unit set earlier will run normally and the unit which
is set later will be on standby. If the A/C manager sets the unit at fixed cooling or heating mode, the unit cannot
operate other modes.
Heating mode characteristic
• During operation, if the outdoor temp. increases, the indoor fan motor will turn to low speed or stop.
Defrosting in heating mode
• In heating mode, outdoor defrosting will affect the heating efficiency. The unit will automatically defrost for about
2-10 minutes. At this time, the condensate will flow from the outdoor. Also while defrosting, the vapor will appear
from outdoor, which is normal. The indoor motor will run at low speed or will stop and the outdoor motor will stop.
The unit operation condition
• To use the unit properly, please operate the unit under the allowed condition range. If operating beyond the range,
the protection device will act.
• The relative humidity should be lower than 80%. If the unit runs at a humidity of over 80% for a long period, the
dew on the unit will drop down and the vapour will be blown from the air outlet.
Protection device (such as high pressure switch)
• A high pressure switch is the device that can stop the unit automatically when the unit runs abnormally.
When the high pressure switch is active, the cooling/heating mode will stop but the running LED on the wired
controller will still be lit. The wired controller will display the failure code.
When the following cases occur, the protection device will be active:
In cooling mode, the air outlet and inlet ports of the outdoor unit are clogged.
In heating mode, the indoor filter is glued to the duct and the indoor air outlet is clogged.
When protection device is active, please cut off the power source and re-start after eliminating the failure.
When power failure
• When a power failure occurs while running, all the operations will stop.
• After being electrified again, with re-start function, the unit can automatically resume back to the state before pow-
er, if it is without re-start function, the unit needs to be switched on again.
• When abnormalities occur in running because of the thunder, lightning, interference from car or radio etc., please
cut off the power source. After eliminating the failure, press the "ON/OFF" button to start up the unit.
Heating capacity
• The heating mode adopts the heat pump type that absorbs outdoor heat energy and releases it indoors. So, if the
outdoor temperature goes down, the heating capacity will decrease.
System marks
• On the condition that multi outdoor systems are installed, in order to confirm the relationship between the outdoor
and the indoor, please mark the outdoor electric control box cover to indicate the connected indoor unit, as shown
in the figure below
