5-minute delay function
• If starting up the unit after being powered off, the compressor will run about 5 minutes later to prevent
damage.
Cooling/heating operation
• Indoor units can be controlled individually but cannot run in cooling and heating mode simultaneously. If
both modes co-exist, the unit set latter will be on standby, and that set earlier will run normally.
• If the A/C manager sets a fixed cooling or heating mode, the unit cannot run in other modes.
Heating mode characteristic
• During operation, if the external temp. rises, the indoor fan motor will reduce its low speed or stop.
Defrosting in heating mode
• In heating mode, outdoor defrosting will affect the heating efficiency. The unit will defrost for about 2~10
minutes automatically; at this time, the condensate will flow from the outdoor unit, and while defrosting,
the vapour will appear on the outdoor unit, which is normal. The indoor motor will run at a reduced speed
or stop, and the outdoor motor will stop.
The unit operation condition
• To use the unit properly, please operate it under the permitted range only. If operating beyond range, the
protection device will activate.
• The relative humidity should be lower than 80%. If the unit runs at a humidity over 80% for a long period,
there will be condensation on the unit and vapour from the air outlet.
Protection device (such as the high pressure switch)
• The high pressure switch is the device that can stop the unit automatically when it runs abnormally.
When the high pressure switch activates, the cooling/heating mode will stop, but the LED light on wired
controller will still be alight. The wired controller will display a failure code.
• The protection device will activate under the following circumstances:
In cooling mode, the air outlet and inlet of the outdoor unit are clogged.
In heating mode, the indoor filter is taped with duct; the indoor air outlet is clogged.
When the protection device activates, please turn off the power and re-start after addressing the
cocerns.
When power failure
• When power fails, all operations will halt.
• After being charged again, if it has a re-start function, the unit can resume to its state before power failure
automatically; if it does not have s re-start function, the unit needs to be switched on again manually.
• If the unit functions abnormally due to thunder, lightning, the interference of car or radio, etc., please turn
off the power. After addressing the issue, press "ON/OFF" button to re-start the unit.
