Installation procedure
Note:
1. When connecting the pipe and the outdoor unit, please pay attention to the outdoor pipe dimension.
2. When adjusting the diameter among pipes and units, please execute at the branch pipe side.
3. When welding with hard solder, please charge nitrogen. If not, a number of oxides will be produced
and cause heavy damages. To prevent water and dust from entering the pipe, appropriately cover the
open end of the pipe during storage and installation.

Insulation
• Gas pipe and liquid pipe should be heat insulated
separately.
• The material for gas pipe should endure high
temperatures over 120°C, which for liquid pipe
should be over 70°C.
• The material thickness should be over 10mm,
when ambient temp. is 30°C, and when the relative
humidity is over 80%, the thickness should be over
15mm.
• The material should cling to the pipe without
leaving any space and should then be wrapped with
adhesive tape. The connection wire cannot be put
together with the heat insulation material and
should be kept at least 20cm away.
Fix the refrigerant pipe
• During operation, the pipes may vibrate, expand or contract. The pipes should be appropriately supported
to prevent pipe breaks.
• fix the pipe at every 2-3m.
Pipe installation
When connecting the pipes, please ensure the following:
• Please do not let the pipe and the parts of the unit collide.
• When connecting the pipes, close the valves fully.
• Protect the pipe ends against water and impurities by welding after flattening or sealing with adhesive
tape.
• Bend the pipe as large a diameter as possible (over 4 times the pipe's diameter).
• The connection between the outdoor liquid pipe and the distributing pipe is flared type. Please expand the
pipe with the special tool for R410A after installing the expanding nut. However, if the projecting pipe
length has been adjusted with the copper pipe gauge, you can use the original tool to expand the pipe.
• Since the unit is with R410A, the expanding oil is ester oil, not mineral oil.
• When performing the flare connection, please ensure the following: When connecting the expanding pipe,
fasten the pipes using double spanner. The torque refers to the former info.
• The outdoor gas pipe and the refrigerant distributing pipe, as well as the refrigerant distributing pipe and
the branch pipe should be welded using hard solder.
