5. How to use

5.1 Unpacking the device

1. Remove the device from the packaging.
2. Remove any transport packaging and
any protective films present.
3. Check that the device is not damaged.

5.2 Assembly

You require:
- the heating unit 5
- a Phillips screwdriver
- a stable table
- a soft underlay, e.g. a towel - somewhat
larger than the heating unit 5
1. Place the soft underlay on the surface of
the table, so that it extends over the
front edge of the table.
2. Place the heating unit 5 with the glass
panel 14 on the soft underlay, so that
the underside extends over the front
edge of the table.
For the feet you require:
- 2 feet 11/12
- 4 screws 10 (the shorter ones)
Figure A:
On the underside of the heating unit 5 you
will find two holes each on the left and right
for mounting the feet 11/12.
NOTES:
• During assembly, please note the mark-
ings R and L on the underside of the
feet 11/12.
• Because the heating unit is lying with its
rear facing up, the foot marked R 11
must be attached on the left, and the
foot marked L 12 must be attached on
the right.
• The feet 11/12 can only be mounted
such that the base surfaces are facing
outwards.
3. Place the foot marked R 11 onto the
left-hand holes and fix it in place with
2 screws 10.
4. Place the foot marked L 12 onto the
right-hand holes and fix it in place with
2 screws 10.
For the handle you require:
- the handle 2
- 2 longer screws 3
- 2 washers 4
Figure C:
On the back of the heating unit 5 you will
find two holes at the top for mounting the
handle 2.
5. Place the handle 2 over the holes. Note
that the end with the holes in the handle
must be pointing down, as shown.
6. Place the washers 4 onto the screws 3.
7. Screw the handle 2 in place using the
2 screws 3.

8. When the feet 11/12 and the han-
dle 2 are fully mounted, place the de-
vice on its feet.

5.3 Setting up the device

FIRE HAZARD!
The device must only be set up on a solid,
level, dry and non-flammable surface.
The device must not be set up on e.g. a
deep-pile carpet.
When setting up the device, keep a min-
imum distance of 50 cm all around from
