Cause
Defective Geberit
electrofusion
coupling or
defective Geberit
electrofusion tape
for anchor point
Sleeve connection
plug removed
during the welding
procedure
Electrofusion
machine is
overheating or
operating at too
high an ambient
temperature
Actions
Disconnect the mains
plug
Visually inspect the
contacts on the sleeve
connection cables and
dry or clean them if
necessary
Use a new Geberit
electrofusion coupling or
a new Geberit
electrofusion tape for
anchor point
Disconnect the mains
plug
Press the start button and
hold for three seconds
Repeat the welding
procedure with the cooled
Geberit electrofusion
coupling or the cooled
Geberit electrofusion
tape for anchor point
Let electrofusion machine
cool down until the
trouble indication goes
out. Do not disconnect
machine from power
supply system so that the
fan operates
Do not expose the
electrofusion machine to
direct sunlight
