Attention! Depending on how you will use the tool,
the actual values may deviate from the indicated val-
ues. Take measures to protect yourself from noise
pollution. In this process it is important to take the
complete sequence of operation into account. This
also includes moments during which the power tool
operates without load and moments during which it
is turned off. Suitable measures comprise amongst
other things regular maintenance and service of the
tool and the insertion tools, regular breaks and the
appropriate planning of the sequences of operation.

5. Unpacking

Open the packaging and remove the device carefully.
Remove the packaging material as well as the pack-
aging and transport bracing (if available).
Check that the delivery is complete.
Check the device and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised. If possible, store the packaging until the
warranty period has expired.
Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating instructions before using for the first time.
With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Replacement
parts can be obtained from your dealer.
When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for your equip-
ment.
m ATTENTION!
The device and packaging materials are not toys!
Children must not be allowed to play with plas-
tic bags, film and small parts! There is a risk of
swallowing and suffocation!

6. Construction

Fitting the handle (fig. C + D):
• Fold lower and upper handle apart.
• Slide the handle in between the fixing brackets and
secure with 2 hexagon bolts M 10 x 65, 2 washers
10 mm, and 2 lock nuts. Fasten the gas lever with
slotted screw M 5 x 25 to the upper handle.

Fitting the transport fixture (fig. E):
• Fasten the pre-assembled wheel base to the hold-
ing brackets using 2 hexagon bolts M 10 x 30, 2
washers 10 mm, and 2 lock nuts.
• In the working position, the entire trolley section is
folded up and latched into the hooks on the lower
handle frame.
Fitting the rubber pad (fig. F):
• For mounting the rubber mat, the machine with the
rubber plate has to be placed onto the rubber mat.
• Fasten the rubber mat on the front side using the
fixing bar, 2 hexagon bolts M 10 x 30 and 2 wash-
ers 10 mm dia. each. Firmly tighten all bolts.
• Attention: Only use the rubber mat for vibrating
concrete stones, concrete plates and similar
materials.
• For vibrating gravel, stone chips and similar
materials, the rubber mat must be removed.

7. Safety information

• Understand your machine
• Read and understand the operator's manual and
labels affixed to the machine.
• Learn its application and limitations as well as the
specific potential hazards peculiar to it.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the controls and their
proper operation.
• Know how to stop the machine and disengage the
controls quickly.
• Do not attempt to operate the machine until you
fully understand how to properly operate and main-
tain the Engine and how to avoid accidental injuries
and/or property damage.
• Keep children and bystanders off and away.
Work area
• Never start or run the engine inside a closed area.
The exhaust fumes are dangerous, containing car-
bon monoxide, an odourless and deadly gas. Op-
erate this unit only in a well ventilated outdoor area.
• Never operate the machine without good visibility
or light.
Personal safety
• Do not operate the machine while under the in-
fluence of drugs, alcohol, or any medication that
could affect your ability to use it properly.
• Dress properly. Wear heavy long pants, boots and
gloves.
• Do not wear loose clothing, short pants, and jewel-
ry of any kind. Secure long hair so it is above shoul-
der level. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away
from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long
hair can be caught in moving parts. Check your ma-
chine before starting it.
