1 Forward and reverse drive pedal [FIG.3 - 3/A]
Controls movement of the motor-sweeper. Pressing on the front of the pedal moves the sweeper forward,
pressing on the back of it reverses the sweeper. The travel speed depends on the amount by which the
pedal is depressed. When the pedal is released the sweeper brakes automatically and stops.
CAUTION!
IF THE MACHINE DOES NOT REMAIN STATIONARY WHEN THE PEDAL IS RELEASED, MAKE THE
RELATIVE ADJUSTMENT, SEE «TRAVEL SYSTEM» SECTION.
2 Front fl ap lifting pedal [FIG.3 - 3/A]
Press this pedal down to lift the front fl ap in order to pass it over rubbish which would otherwise be pushed
in front of the machine.
3 Brake pedal [FIG.3 - 3/A]
Controls the emergency brake. The pedal acts hydraulically on the drum brakes on the rear wheels.
4 Brush rotation control lever [FIG.3 - 3/B]
Position A: brushes rotate.
To stop the rotation, return the lever to the initial position.
5 Hopper lifting and lowering control lever [FIG.3 - 3/B]
Position A: hopper up
Position B: hopper down
6 Hopper door control lever [FIG.3 - 3/B]
Position A: hopper door open
Position B: hopper door closed
7 Accellerator lever [FIG.3 - 3/C - 3/D diesel and petrol version]
Controls the engine speed (max. 2550 rpm) during work and travel. Pulling the lever increases the rpm,
pushing it decreases the engine speed.
8 Side brushes lifting and lowering control lever [FIG.3 - 3/B]
The lever lifting and lowering the side brushes.
Position A: lifting the side brushes during transfers as well as when the sweeper does not operate.
Position B: lowering the side brushes during operation
9 Main brush lifting and lowering control lever [FIG.3 - 3/B]
The lever lifting and lowering the main brush.
Position A: lifting the main brush during transfers as well as when the sweeper does not operate.
Position B: lowering the main brush during operation
10 Horn button [FIG.3 - 3/E - 3/F]
Sounds the horn when pressed
11 Lights switch (OPTIONAL) [FIG.3 - 3/E - 3/F]
Switches on and off front and rear lights
12 Direction indicator light switch (OPTIONAL) [FIG.3 - 3/E - 3/F]
Switches on and off indicator light
