depending on the nature of the accident and how serious it was.
In the same way as the safety belts used for adults, a child safety
harness cannot be regarded as a substitute for responsible,
vigilant behaviour on the roads.

7. Guarantee

The warranty period shall commence at the time of purchase. The
warranty period shall correspond to the duration of the applicable
statutory warranty period for the sale of child seats in the respective
end user country. Depending on the wishes of the manufacturer, the
warranty shall cover rectification, replacement or a
price reduction.
The warranty is only valid for the initial purchaser.
Should a defect occur, warranty rights shall only apply if the
specialist retailer is notified of the defect immediately after its
initial occurrence. If the specialist retailer cannot solve the
problem, then it must return the product with an exact description
of the problem and official proof of purchase.
The manufacturer shall assume no liability for damage to products
which it did not supply.
The warranty shall lapse if:
• the product was altered.
• the product is not returned complete with proof of purchase to
the retailer within 14 days of the defect occurring.
