Backlight
The backlight for the display and the buttons
switches on each time a button is pressed.
It remains lit for 10 seconds in the default
setting. You can switch off the backlight or
extend it up to 60 seconds.
Note that the backlight requires additional
battery power.
a. Press and hold the Setup button for
approx. 3 seconds until CODE SETUP
appears.
b. Briefly press the Setup button again to
access SYSTEM SETUP.
c. Press OK to confirm. VOL/MUTE SETUP
appears.
d. Select the BELEUCHT SETUP menu using
the navigation buttons and press OK to
confirm.
e. The current time setting flashes (10
seconds in the factory setting). Set the
desired time period in intervals of five
seconds using the navigation buttons.
Select "00" seconds to switch off the
backlight. Press OK to confirm.
f. The confirmation message FERTIG
appears. The display returns to
CODE SETUP.
RESET – Factory settings
A RESET returns all of the device's settings to
the factory settings. The programmed codes,
learned functions and macros are deleted.
a. Press and hold the Setup button for
approx. 3 seconds until CODE SETUP
appears.
b. Briefly press the Setup button again to
access SYSTEM SETUP.
c. Press OK to confirm. VOL/MUTE SETUP
appears.
d. Select the GERAETE RESET menu using
the navigation buttons and press OK to
confirm.
e. The message BESTAET. RESET appears.
Press OK to confirm and perform the
reset.
f. While the factory settings are being
restored, WARTEN... appears on the
display.
