to which you wish to apply the VOL/MUTE
control.
g. WARTEN... appears followed shortly by
the confirmation message FERTIG.
If by mistake a device was selected which
does not have volume control, an error
message appears.
The remote control then switches to normal
operation mode.
Switching off punch through (VOL/MUTE) for
a specific device
You can set the universal remote control
so that for a specific device it only controls
that device's own VOL/MUTE functions. This
switches off the "punch through" function for
this device.
You cannot switch off the universal function
for TV mode. If you have selected a different
mode fur the VOL/MUTE function as
described in the previous section, you also
cannot switch off the universal function for
this mode.
a. Press and hold the Setup button for
approx. 3 seconds until CODE SETUP
appears.
b. Briefly press Setup again to access
SYSTEM SETUP.
c. Press OK. VOL/MUTE SETUP appears.
d. Press OK again. The VOL/MUTE ALLE
menu appears.
e. Select the MODE/MUTE EINZ. menu using
the navigation buttons. In this menu,
you switch off the VOL/MUTE universal
function for the individual device which
you select in the next step.
f. Press OK. The prompt MODE VOL MODE?
appears.
g. Press a source button to select the device
which is to keep its own VOL/MUTE
control (not TV).
h. WARTEN... appears followed shortly by
the confirmation message FERTIG.
Resetting punch through (VOL/MUTE) to
factory setting
If you have changed the VOL/MUTE "punch
through" function as described in the
previous two sections, you can reset this
function to its factory setting by programming
as follows.
a. Press and hold the Setup button for
approx. 3 seconds until CODE SETUP
appears.
b. Briefly press Setup again to access
SYSTEM SETUP.
c. Press OK. VOL/MUTE SETUP appears.
d. Press OK again. The VOL/MUTE ALLE
menu appears.
e. Select the VOL/MUTE RESET menu using
the navigation buttons.
f. Press OK. The message BESTAET. RESET
appears.
g. Press OK to confirm and perform the
reset.
h. WARTEN... appears followed shortly by
the confirmation message FERTIG.
