Do not expose the device to intense heat
sources.
Do not short-circuit the batteries.
Do not throw the batteries in a fire.
If the device is not used for a longer period,
remove the batteries.
Remove leaking batteries from the device
immediately. Clean the contacts before
inserting new batteries. Battery acid can
cause chemical burns.
Remove expired batteries from the device
as well.
Cleaning
Clean the device using only a dry or slightly
moist lint-free cloth. Do not use any caustic or
aggressive cleaning agents.
This universal remote control has 10 device
buttons (source buttons) which allows it to
replace up to ten normal remote controls
("10-in-1 function"). These can be remote
controls for virtually any type of entertainment
electronics.
The labels on the source buttons (TV, VCR,
CBL, ASAT, DSAT, DVD, AUX1, CD, AMP, AUX2)
provide for clear and easy use. With the
exception of the TV button, you can assign any
device to any button ("Flex-mode").
Inserting the batteries
You need 2 AAA/LR03 microcell batteries.
We recommend alkaline batteries for longer
battery life.
Remove the battery compartment cover by
sliding it downwards. Insert the two batteries
into the compartment while paying attention
to the polarity (+/–). Replace the cover.
Settings after a battery change
If the batteries have been inserted correctly,
the display is switched on. It shows the
active mode ("TV"), the day of the week and
the time.
To set the time and date, please read further
in the manual.
After the batteries have been replaced, the
mode, the time, the date and the backlight
time are reset to the factory settings.
However codes, learned functions
and macros that have been previously
programmed are retained after a battery
change.
