6.5.2 Lock monitoring

To monitor the lock, a contact can be used that
is e.g. on a window or door handle. The
contact must be connected so that
- it is closed when the

Due to the closed contact when the window
handle is open, data transmission to the EU is
prevented.
Data transmission can only take place when:
- the window is closed
a nd
- the window handle is locked.
The cable for lock monitoring is soldered
parallel to the sensor cable.
It may be shortened, but
6.5.3 Protection against humidity
The connections and soldering pads that are not
used must be protected against humidity.
There are two ways to seal the connection areas:
1. Both soldered cast links at the side are melted
with the soldering bit and used for sealing the
soldering pads.
Ensure that the melted plastic covers the leads right up to the insulation.
2. "Plastic 70 transparent" by Kontakt Chemie is used as a protection against humidity.
Both soldering areas are sprayed from a short distance so that the cable is protected against
humidity from all sides.
After sealing (wait approx. 30 minutes for drying if a protective lacquer has been used), the
transmission unit can be inserted in the housing.
