7. For longer-term decommissioning, remove the adapter for the
disposable secretion canister system by moving the lever that
is in the horizontal position counterclockwise a quarter turn so
that the lever points vertically downwards.

8. When the lever is in this position, pull the adapter for the
disposable secretion canister system out of the fitting.

9. Clean the surface of the device according to section 5.1.2
and 5.2.2.
10. Store the device in the shipping carton until the next use.
