4 Maintenance
Insertion of the bacterial filter
Insert the bacterial filter into the device by introducing the
filter with the lever pointing vertically downwards in the
opening provided. Subsequently move the lever clockwise
a quarter turn so that the lever is in the horizontal position.

Please note that the reusable secretion canister cannot
be connected if the bacterial filter has not been inserted
correctly.
4.2.2 Connecting the disposable secretion canister
Malfunction due to collapsing "OneWay" disposable liner
A leak in the "Bag" external canister or at the lid of the
"OneWay" disposable liner may cause air to flow into the
"Bag" external canister. This may lead to the collapse of the
"OneWay" disposable liner.
•
Ensure that the lid of the "OneWay" disposable liner
is firmly connected to the "Bag" external canister.
•
Ensure that all connections are firmly attached and
properly connected.
•
Ensure that the "Bag" external canister is undamaged
and the T-piece is firmly attached.
•
Follow the instructions for use supplied by the
manufacturer!
The original ASSKEA disposable secretion canister system consists of
the "Bag" external canister, the holder for the "Bag" external canister,
the "OneWay" disposable liner, the adapter for the disposable secre-
tion canister system and the suction tube.
