4.4 .2 ASSKEA proVisio® M28 secretion aspirator
with disposable secretion canister system
Health risks due to the handling of
infectious or pathogenic germs
Infectious and pathogenic germs in the aspirate
cause health risks.
•
Wear suitable disposable gloves during decommissioning.
•
For each new patient, processing by ASSKEA GmbH or by
an authorized service partner of ASSKEA GmbH is strictly
required!
•
After each aspiration procedure, all components that have
come into contact with the aspirate must be cleaned, disin-

fected, or disposed of.
•
The aspirate and the parts contaminated with aspirate must

be disposed of properly.
1. Switch off the ASSKEA proVisio
the aspiration by holding the On / Off button (Fig. 1.2(C)) pressed
for 1-2 seconds.
2. Disconnect the power supply unit from the mains supply (100 V
to 240 V AC) if attached, and then remove the device plug from
the aspiration device.
3. Remove the suction tube (Fig. 1.2(G)) from the patient connection
(Fig. 11 (B)).
4. Clean or dispose of the suction tube properly (see section 5.1.6
and 5.2.6).
5. Remove the "OneWay" disposable liner as described in section
4.3.4 up to and including step 5. Then follow the instructions
regarding the cleaning of the "Bag" external canister in section
5.1.5 and 5.2.5.

6. For longer-term decommissioning, remove the holder for the "Bag"
external canister from the device by grasping it at the bottom in
the middle and pulling it out of the canister fitting over the rack
on the bottom.
