6.1 Operation with GetPos

Using the GetPos software, you can send position values to
your PC, and have the option of saving them in an ASCII text
file (.txt) or an Excel-compatible file (.csv) for further processing.
To send position values from the SensorReady 3D to your PC
and to process them with GetPos, the SensorReady 3D and PC
must be correctly connected and configured.

1 Create a new folder on your hard drive, to which you would

3 Open the folder ..\Software\GetPos.
4 Copy the file GetPos.exe to the folder on your hard drive
GetPos is now installed on your PC.
When GetPos is used for the first time, it generates the confi-
guration file GetPos.cfg, where the settings you have made are
saved. The configuration file is saved in the folder in which the
file GetPos.exe is stored.

which is used by SensorReady 3D.
