Only use the SensorReady 3D for the purposes which are
described in this operating manual.
Read and make sure you understand the operating manual
for the measuring systems and peripherals you would like to
connect the SensorReady 3D to.
Only connect measuring systems from Märzhäuser Wetzlar
to port Encoder 1.
Only connect incremental measuring systems of the type
MR/analog 5Vss, 1Vss or TTL (RS-422) without external
power supply to port Encoder 3.
Only use shielded cables for connecting measuring systems,
PCs and other peripherals.
The SensorReady 3D is insulated to the power supply. En-
sure that no dangerous voltages or currents are induced by
peripheral devices in the SensorReady 3D.
Only use the 24 V/30 W power supply provided to power
the SensorReady 3D.
Ensure that your mains voltage matches the label on the
power supply before connecting the SensorReady 3D to the
mains.
Disconnect the SensorReady 3D from the mains before
connecting measuring systems, a PC or other peripherals
to the SensorReady 3D or disconnecting them from the
SensorReady 3D.
Set the SensorReady 3D up in such a way that you can
immediately disconnect the power supply from the mains,
without hindrance, in case of emergency.
Ensure that no chips, liquids, objects or substances enter the
interior of the SensorReady 3D or the power supply. Protect
the SensorReady 3D from dust and dirt as far as possible.
