FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•
It is advisable to support the engine as shown in picture 5 to prevent any
engine movement when the original engine bolts are loosened/removed
(do not use excessive force as damage can occur).
•
To use a jack to support the engine you will need to remove the original sump
guard by removing the four bolts arrowed in pictures 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Off side (right side as you sit on the motorcycle)
•
Remove the nut arrowed in picture 6.
•
Remove the original engine bolt, if required use the new engine bar (item 12)
and a soft faced mallet to carefully drift the original bolt out as shown in picture
7.
•
Leave the new engine bar in place leaving equal amount protruding from either
side.
•
Fit the two largest spacers (item 13) over the exposed threads on each side as
shown in pictures 8 and 9.
