Risk of injury due to unexpected start
Improper operation can lead to serious injuries that could result in death.
The following instructions must be adhered to during all maintenance, servicing, assembly,
disassembly and repair work:
• Switch off the power source.
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Close off the gas supply.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.
NOTICE
Note the following instructions:
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
• Consult the documentation for the welding components.
6.1 Attaching the CAT3Pro to the robot
NOTICE
• Before the CAT3Pro (3) can be mounted, you must drive the robot (5) into maintenance
position.
• You must have an intermediate flange (6) to fasten the CAT3Pro (3) to the robot (5).
It must match the hole pattern of the CAT3Pro (3) and the robot (5).
• You must have a torch mount (2) to fasten the torch (1) to the CAT3Pro (3). The type of
torch mount depends on the torch type and CAT3Pro adapter (8) used.
