Timer
1. Switch the kitchen timer on by pressing the timer
button. .
2. Set the timer using the +/- buttons
The timer can be set for a maximum of 4 hours.
At the end of the set time you will hear a bleep.
You can switch this bleep off with the timer
button . Another time can be set straight away using the + button.
Countdown timer
1. Put a pan on a cooking zone.
2. Switch the appropriate zone on and select a
setting.
3. Link the timer to the zone using the timer
button
.
4. Set the required time using the +/- buttons.
NB: Always switch the zone on first and then the countdown timer. The timer
can be set for a maximum of 4 hours. If a zone is not switched on it cannot be
linked to the timer. You can alter the preset time whenever you so require. At
the end of the set time you will hear a bleep. You can switch this bleep off
using the timer button.The bleep will otherwise stop automatically after 30
minutes.
Childproof lock
The childproof lock enables you to lock the hob
when it is switched off. This prevents it being
switched on unintentionally during maintenance or
children switching it on.
Switching on and off
Place your finger on the button for 3 seconds. The childproof lock is on if the
light above button comes on.
The childproof lock cannot be activated while you are cooking. You can still use
the timer when the hob is locked.
