This manual is intended for appliance users and qualified con-
tractors.
Note
Read these instructions carefully before using the appli-
ance and retain them for future reference. Pass on these
instructions to a new user if required.

Safety

2.1

Intended use

The unit is intended to be used for the controlled ventilation of
office spaces, training rooms or other comparable facilities with
a high person density.
Comparable facilities:
- Classrooms
- Nurseries
- Places of assembly
- Waiting rooms (e.g. in medical practices)
- Commercial premises
- Sales rooms
- Fitness studios
- Pubs
- Gyms
The unit can be used safely by untrained persons. The unit can
also be used in domestic environments, e.g. for home ventilation,
as long as it is used in the same way.
Observation of these instructions and of the instructions for any
accessories used is also part of the correct use of this appliance.
Always operate the unit with all its protective equipment installed
and in accordance with the conditions stated in the specification.
Any other use beyond that described shall be deemed inappro-
priate.
The following are deemed inappropriate:
- The use of grease-contaminated extract air, explosive gases,
dust-polluted air and adhesive or abrasive (erosive) particles
- Construction drying on new builds or renovated buildings
- Converting, tampering with or modifying the unit
- The use of fixings of any type on the unit which are not spec-
ified by us
Never connect cooker hoods or dryers to the ventilation system.
Do not install the unit in the vicinity of flammable liquids or gases,
in swimming pools, or where it will be exposed to chemicals.
Never install the unit in wet rooms.
The unit is not suitable for applications where the supply air
must meet specific hygiene requirements, e.g. hospital operat-
ing rooms.
