Any unauthorized installation of software and/or soundcard and/or calibration of the
SafetyMeter soundcard and/or headphones and/or probes, which could damage your
computer/system or cause you hearing problems are prohibited. Phonak declines any
responsibility for any consequences.
3 Installation

3.1 System requirements

u Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / 7 (32-bit version only)
u CD-ROM drive
u Minimum RAM: 512MB
u Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or later (available for free from www.adobe.com).

3.2 Important notice

For correct SafetyMeter testing, the left and right markings and positioning of both
headphones and hearing protectors must be respected.
Color indicator:
Always make sure the user wears the headphones with the L-cup on the Left ear
and the R-cup on the right.
