Internet software updates
These include:
u There is no open internet connection. Open or activate your internet connection.
u Your proxy server is not correctly configured. In the internet update window, click on
the "Internet Options" menu and enter the proxy name and port. Optionally, a user ID
and password can be entered.
u A firewall blocking is access to the internet: add the SafetyMeter application to the
firewall's list of exceptions.
If you do not have internet access to update the software, please inform your SafetyMeter
sales contact accordingly.
12 Service and warranty
Phonak provides a manufacturer's limited warranty for SafetyMeter. Please ask your sales
contact for full details of this warranty.
No warranty claims will be considered if the SafetyMeter system has been subject to
abnormal wear and tear, improper handling or care, undue stress, modification, damage
caused by third parties, exposure to chemicals, immersion in water.
Changes or modifications made to this equipment not expressly approved by
Phonak Communications may void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
