CHAPTER 4
Before starting work make sure that the machine is perfectly clean, in particular surfaces that
have contact with dough. If necessary, clean them following indications at 5.1.
To get the best result and shape of the dough before using the machine, spread a thin layer of
oil on the disk surfaces that are in contact with the dough.

4.1 FUNCTIONAL TEST

After inserting the electrical plug into the socket, the machine is ready for the functional
verification.
The safety devices should be checked according to the following procedure:
• while the machine is working, lift the protection grid (Pos. G-Pict. 3.1). The lower plate
should go down and return to the starting position immediately.
Check that the control devices are functioning correctly, as described in the following
paragraphs 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5.
In particular:
• check the proper functioning of timer D
• check the proper functioning of button D1
• check the proper functioning of lights A1 and B1
• check the proper functioning thermoregulators A and B
• check the proper functioning of start buttons C
ATTENTION
If, by pressing the C keys, the lower plate goes down by about 20 mm and returns
immediately to the initial position (while the machine is on), the following procedure is
required:
1. Turning the knob of the switch E to position "0"
2. Take the plug out of the electric socket.
3. Reverse on the plug the position of two phases (example: L1 with L2 and vice versa).
Switch on once more the machine and check if the distance between the plates is within 0
and 1 mm.

SWITCHING ON

To switch on the machine proceed as follows
1. Connect the feeding cable to the electric socket
2. Turn the main 0-1 switch (look at Pos. E Pict. 3.1) to position " 1 ".
